LETHA TURNER- Co-Pastor

Bridge The Gap is pleased to formally recognize Letha Turner!  Letha was raised in church and has followed the Lord from her early childhood. She married Pastor James at the age of 17, has 3 daughters, and one son who died.  James and Letha are proud grandparents of 8 grandchildren, one of whom has also died.  She served alongside her husband in the ministry for the better part of 25 years, and is a mighty woman of God.

She is passionate about reaching the lost and bringing comfort and encouragement to the hurting, the hopeless, the hungry, the addicted, and to the afflicted.  Letha has be very instrumental in helping her husband birth numerous street outreaches, which include homeless ministries, prostitution ministries, and children ministries in several different cities including Cincinnati, Ohio; cities throughout northern Kentucky; Detroit, Michigan, and  in Phoenix, Arizona.

Her heart especially aches for the women on the streets that are trapped in a life of drugs and enslaved in prostitution. She has helped numerous women escape from these lifestyles through previous ministries and outreaches, and they are now living fruitful and productive lives by the power of God.  We are blessed that the Lord has called her back to lead these same outreach efforts in the heart Cincinnati – to rescue women from drug addiction and prostitution by the power of Jesus Christ!  We are so grateful for her passion to these critical causes and know that the Lord will bless her and her team with their pursuit to save souls!

Kim Orlerman- BTG Secretary

Kim Orlemann grew up in Southeastern Ohio and began serving at a young age. She was member of the School for Youth in Mission as a teenager beginning her dedication to serving the underserved. She moved to Cincinnati and began a career in education as a teacher and a school counselor, serving in her local church with youth and leading small groups. After 30
years she ventured into her own business in Amelia and Withamsville, Ohio and began serving with Jim and Letha Turner as part of the Search and Rescue team and with the Lord’s Gym homeless ministry. Shortly thereafter God clearly called her out of her business to invest her time fully in beginning a local ministry, Lightshine, which serves the Batavia, Ohio area. Shortly
thereafter, as an overflow of her street ministry she began working at Weightless Anchor, a hospitality home sponsored by bloc Ministry, then moved to working with women in recovery at the Redeemed Home counseling, mentoring, and serving the residents there. She was the
manager of one of the homes prior to leaving and focusing on developing Lightshine and starting a new food pantry at Makers Church in Anderson Township. These efforts utilize her love for the Lord, expertise in trauma and addiction and a desire to help those caught up in Homelessness, poverty and addiction. She has been instrumental in setting up programs for women both locally and in Arizona. She is excited to see where God will lead in the future! Kim is married to Duff Orlemann and has three adult sons.
